Dear readers, today's challenge is to write a letter to your Dad, telling him how you really feel, which shouldn't be only on father's day. I know this can be really difficult for some of us particularly when we don't have the relationship we crave with our Dads, so hear is an opportunity to voice it out. The winner gets a special treat from Belarich #winks...Bon chance!
Dear Dad,
ReplyDeleteI love you because you have been a provider, cultivator and a protector. i appreciate you for teaching me how to respect a woman.
I also thank God for opening your eyes to meet and marry my mum.
Thanks for making me laugh today.
Your Son

Dear Dad,
ReplyDeleteIts been seventeen years since you left this world to become a guardian angel. It sounds funny I'm not even shedding tears because I know wherever you are you'd be proud of the person I have grown into despite all the faults that I have.
You thought me something, never let someone take away your happiness by knocking your door for debts... I have learnt that.
Luckily for me, I discovered my love for music but for some reason or the other,I've not been able to release my own material, but then who cares? your son is a disc jockey!
Right now I'm only a few days away from becoming a university graduate and I have held on for so long because you told me some line from a poem, If at first you don't succeed, try again. I have tried, thank you.
So many things I would like to ask you, like is Nigeria ever going to become a developed nation? Is the price of fuel ever going to be at N10 per litre? Am I going to get married before Jesus comes? But then, there is no telephone to heaven... Till we meet again, Peace be unto your soul.
Your homeboy,
Niro
Wow! I'm sure he is very proud of you...
