In recent news, Kanye West has cancelled his appearance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards due to the fact that his girlfriend Kim Kardashian would be absent from the show. Although Kim K's absence is based on a prior engagement in NYC, where she is promoting her fragrance "True Reflection" at the Lord & Taylor Fashion's Night Out.
